According to a listing on Books-A-Million, an online book store, "Gears of War 1" (probably a working title) will be written by Steven Kent and published by Ballantine Books. Steven Kent used to be a video game journalist but moved on to writing science fiction (notably about clones in the Rogue Clone and The Clone Republic).
We're already wondering how the book will turn out - and what storyline it will tackle. Marcus' maybe? Or maybe the invasion... Hmm, we'll know what the book is all about once it comes out.
