Get ESRB ratings and info all in one app
For concerned parents wanting their kids to stay away from the blood and gore, here’s a handy app from the ESRB. Suppose you’re with your kid in the mall and he suddenly asks for a game on the store window. With this app, you can look the game up and see what the rating board has to say about that game, so you’ll know right then and there if you would approve of the game.
For concerned parents wanting their kids to stay away from the blood and gore, here’s a handy app from the ESRB. The app, released by the ESRB, basically allows users to access game ratings from the board’s database, dating back as far as July 1, 2008. “This new rating search app puts all this information at parents’ fingertips when they need it most, right at the store. It’s a powerful tool that will help assure parents that the games they give as gifts are not only fun but also appropriate for their children,” said ESRB president Patricia Vane.
If this is an app you’d like to have on your iPhone, it’s available on the App Store now.
