While trawling through the Internets, we came across this nice tip on how to get a few special items for PlayStation Home. This may not be new to those who were in the closed beta, but the newer participants may find this to be of some interest.
First, you’ll need to create a Japanese PSN account and download the Namco Museum demo. If you achieve high scores in the demo’s playable games (Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, and Xevious), you’ll unlock in-Home stuff ranging from clothes to full-on arcade machines. It looks like you may have to purchase the full game to activate the arcade machines though.
According to Joystiq, this trick has been confirmed as working with the US version of Home. Some reports have also confirmed it for those in Europe. Oh, and be sure to play Namco Museum under your main account to make sure the freebies show up in your Home.
