PSP homebrew developers are known for continually updating their applications. Such is the case with Team Chilt, who has added new features to the previous version of Get!T program for the Sony PSP to bring you Get!T v0.2.

These are the new features that Team Chilt has added to the download application, according to Maxy_PSP:

  • Update feature
  • Use of graphics
  • Custom error codes
  • Set path to extract ZIP file
  • Menu
  • Battery warning at startup

Maxy_PSP pointed out the usefulness of Team Chilt’s custom error code in particular. When you use Get!T v0.2 and you get an error, the trick is to write down the error code and to see where you went wrong. For example:

  • 01×0101 : If the Save Path is not a File
    • WRONG : ‘ms0:/file’
    • CORRECT : ‘ms0:/file.png’
  • 01×0201 : The Download URL does not exist or is not a file
    • WRONG : ‘file.zip’,
    • WRONG : ‘http://www.site.com/Dir/’
    • CORRECT : ‘http://www.site.com/Dir/file.zip’
  • 01×0301 : If your Savepath is a http:// URl
    • WRONG : ‘http//www.site.com/savefile.zip’
    • CORRECT : ‘ms0:/savefile.zip’

Maxy_PSP also noted that users may opt to download new Get!T updates via the “check for updates” feature. As with PSP homebrew applications, kindly exercise caution when downloading and installing them on your Sony handheld.
