Getting to know more of the Grim Adventures cast
As the March 16 launch of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy draws closer, let’s go have another round of re-introduction of the characters that we’ll be seeing in it. Last time, we checked out the profiles of The Grim Reaper, Billy and Mandy. This time around, let’s zoom in on the rest of the gang, who deserves just as much spotlight.
The Boogeyman
Out of the closet, this guy right here is Grim’s arch-nemesis from way back junior high. Yeah, so sometimes letting go of high school squabbles is not as easy as they may claim it to be. Anyhow, he’s a proud one, the Boogeyman sure is. He believes he is the scariest being around, but ironically lost a scaring contest to two bunnies and a paper towel back in June 1988.
Lots of angst riding on that memory, for sure. So expect him to make Billy & Mandy’s adventure, with Grim, of course, to be just a tad bit more — er — grim.
Nergal
Father of Nergal, Jr. and Billy’s uncle, Nergal comes from deep within the bowels of the earth. Literally. He is said to be very amicable and congenial, and in fact desires friendship the most in the world. He will not, however, hesitate to use the electrified tentacles growing out of his body if pissed.
Irwin
Mandy’s biggest admirer, who doesn’t necessarily bother to keep it a secret. He loves books and belongs to the lower crust of the social sphere. Oh, but he does fight, and he does have a lot of power for it. Mysterious still is where his fighting abilities stem from: his love of Mandy or frustration that she doesn’t reciprocate. Boohoo.
General Skarr
“A one-eyed megalomaniac bent on taking the world and having the best looking garden in Endsville.” This is the best description for General Skarr. Long retired from the military, this does not keep him from being considered as still being extremely dangerous, albeit for the most part, only to himself.
So there you have it. The second wave of character introductions for Midway’s Billy & Mandy. Watch out for more as the list ain’t done yet.
