Ghostbusters the Video Game – scans, new info
New scans from Game Informer has revealed new information about the upcoming Ghostbusters: the Video Game (PC, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, Wii, DS) from Sierra. The scans give new info on some of the game mechanics, as well as some of the weapons you’ll be using in the game. It even has some info on the multiplayer system.

New scans from Game Informer has revealed new information about the upcoming Ghostbusters: the Video Game (PC, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, Wii, DS). The scans give new info on some of the game mechanics, as well as some of the weapons you’ll be using.
Apart from the proton gun, players will also be using the atomic opposite, the electron gun. The electron gun freezes ghosts in their tracks rather than frying them. Another gun is the slime gun, which sticks ghosts (and everything else) to its trail like a giant um… snot web.
Players will be earning money through trapping ghosts though so it won’t be wise to use the weapons willy nilly. The game will have up to four-players co-op and multiplayer is offered on some platforms, where players can go head to head as Ghostbusters versus ghosts.
