Gizmodo shows off their Wii
Fresh from the ice cream truck, Gizmodo’s Wii console just got booted up and set. Good idea of them to have video taped their experience with turning their console on for the very first time. Who could blame them? It’s just like video taping your toddler’s first few steps or maybe their first spoken words.
Gloating aside, they’re showing us how starting up your console would be like. Setting up the date, time, language, aspect ratio, etc. They also pointed out some cool feedback about the Wii interface.
Vibrational cues. For some who weren’t able to take a crack at the demo kiosks and haven’t ever tried the Wiimote out, you’d be glad to know that every time you hit something click-able in the UI, the controller would vibrate. This is a nifty feature since it signals the user with a vibrational cue if they’re glossing over the right buttons they could click.
Now, aren’t we all just green with envy? Don’t worry, you’ll have your own Wii, too!
