Gizmondo Executive Loses His SLR

After crashing and totalling his limited production run Enzo Ferrari a few weeks ago, a former Gizmondo Exec has continued his losing streak by having his SLR impounded for driving without a license or registration.

The SLR is a German sports car formed in an engineering partnership between Mclaren and their majority owner – Mercedes. The SLR costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy and if I was a former Gizmondo patron I would be straight up outraged to know this is how my money was being invested.

As you may or may not know the Gizmondo was intended to be a rival handheld system to the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP offering movie playback, games, GPS and more. The Gizmondo has, unfortunately, drowned in a sea of delays and non-feasible system prices.

The Gizmondo is just lucky its not a high-priced sports car…
