Global Game Summit Party Reaches Pacific Rim and Beyond
80 international CEOÂ’s and gaming industry figures met at LA’s Cuidad Restaurant during the week of E3 to be part of Evergreen EventsÂ’ Global Games Summit Reception: Focus on Emerging Markets.
Before the panel discussion, those in attendance had networking opportunities with their colleagues from India, China, Brazil, Argentina, and Russia. They also received copies of a special report, entitled Critical Success Factors: Online Games Market in India.
“The reception for the Global Game Summit launch was a resounding success. Many attendees raved that it was the best content that they have heard at any panel discussion in years,” said Kristina Erickson, Case Manager for EnterpriseSeattle.
James Hursthouse, CEO of Online Game Services, and chairman of the Global Games Summit Chair was the organizer of the reception. He stated, “A number of markets are being described as ‘the next China’ – including South America, India and Eastern Europe. Is 2006 the year to make a move into these markets? What are the challenges and opportunities that await? Which companies are the major players? Our panel provided answers to these and other questions in an interactive session on doing business in emerging markets.”
