GlovePIE + Controllers + House of the Dead = Shotgun frenzy!
Tiger sent us in an amazing lead for the Wii, focusing on one of the many applications of a well-made GlovePIE script for gaming purposes. He’s sent us a link to three videos showing Sega‘s House of the Dead III being run on the computer, with the Wiimote and Nunchuk serving as the shotgun for your battles.
As you can see in the three videos, you’re using the Wiimote to aim and fire while the shotgun’s reloading function is activated by cocking the Nunchuk. What’s so great about that? Well, that’s the way a shotgun used to work in the old days, and it’s that type of pump-action shotgun that remains in some modern guns even in this day and age.
Of course, it’s not an invitation to use the real thing, but you have to admit that the application of GlovePIE here is very cool. In any case, enjoy the videos below, and look to the source link for the script, if you’re thinking of trying it out for yourself.
