Go out and play Wii Tennis at Wiimbledon tourney

Brooklyn residents Steve Bryant and Lane Buschel are currently setting up a Wii Tennis (yup, the one from Wii Sports) tournament known as Wiimbledon. It will be held this coming June 23 from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm at party joint Barcade in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

While the official sign up will being on June 18, Bryant and Buschel shared that more than 550 individuals have already expressed their intentions to join. Problem it, Barcade now can’t accommodate that many people. So the two are proposing the following solution,

Each day beginning Monday, June 18th – and running through Wednesday – we’re going to open up registration to an equal and limited number of competitors. That way, if you can’t get online Monday, you’ve still got two more chances to get in to the competition.

Fair enough? Because it does sound good to us. The two haven’t mentioned any prizes (yet) but playing a good game of Wii Tennis with other Wii enthusiasts is an excellent prize already for us. The Read link below will take you to Wiimbledon’s sign up page.
