As promised, we have here wave #2 of screenshots for Namco Bandai‘s God Eater. From something general, we now take a look at more specific details of gameplay. This here is the very expansive Weapons System.
As you will see below, there are three types of weapons, all stemming from the might Deus Ex Machina. With one click of a button, you can automatically switch from among three forms: Blade, Gun, Predator. That’s a might kick-ass weapon right there.
All three are caught in action in the screenshots below.
Blade Form
There are two kinds of blades you can use, depending on the type of attack you’d want to go for: the Bastard Blade for powerful attacks, and the Short Blade for quick, successive attacks.
Gun Form
If you want to take out the big guns instead, you have more choices in the form of Assault and Sniper, in which the bullets used can be attached with fire elementals, doubling those hit points.
Predator Form
Last but not least, we have the Predator Form. This form of weapons basically copies the power of Aragami, but for a short, limited time only. During this copycatting process, however, the system will enter into Burst Mode. During this mode, players can expect to get more powerful attack, as well as recover their health. They can, in fact, even pass this power to another play, by doing which he may activate the Ultimate Ougi for those awesome damages.
