God of War 2, SOCOM 4, and Resistance – PS3 Launch Titles
Computer and Videogames (CVG) has stated that a scooper deep inside Sony has alerted them to the fact that Zipper Interactive is in fact as we reported, working on SOCOM 4 for the PS3. They provide additional information by informing that it will be a PS3 launch title and will be shown at E3.
Sit down because it doesn’t end there, they also confirm that a next gen God of War is in the works, that it too will be a launch title, but will most likely not be shown at E3 despite being well under development. They alert us to a change in name for the game formerly known as I-8, it’s now known as Resistance. The title is being worked on by Insomniac Games, the studio that brought us the Ratchet and Clank games and has previously been thought to be a launch title as well. Lastly, CVG reports that despite being a favored moniker, the title PlayStation Hub has not been officially endorsed or decided upon.
Someone hold me, if the PS3 actually launches with WarHawk, SOCOM 4, Resistance, God of War 2, and Lair… well I’ll be broke, and have to forgo the luxuries of a normal social life for quite a while.
