God of War: Chains of Olympus moved back to 2008
The gods of release dates have forsaken Kratos once more, it seems. Pocket Gamer UK is reporting confirmation of a delay for Ready at Dawn‘s God of War: Chains of Olympus.
According to Pocket Gamer, the Leipzig Games Convention press release is stating an early 2008 release for the game. Previously, it was announced that God of War: Chains of Olympus would hit stores in time for Christmas.
This is a bad enough blow for one timezone, but it’s even more problematic when you take into account that this may be a worldwide delay. Major US online retailers are also reporting delays, with release dates varying from anywhere between January to April.
It looks like folks everywhere will have to wait just a little bit longer for this much-awaited game. Till then, keep checking QJ for more updates and information on the matter.
