God of War III Q&A #2 – Jeff Rubenstein with Ken Feldman
Yesterday, we had the game director. Now, we have the art director. Jeff Rubenstein rolls out another video in his series of interviews with the guys behind of God of War III, this time with Ken Feldman, who’s been manning the visual side of Kratos and his latest dance with the gods. More coming up after the link.

One thing we can always expect from God of War is its consistency with the written Greek Mythology. God of War III visuals were based from text descriptions and paintings from the 15th Century, giving us all the bloody glory that we’ve come to love about the franchise. Couple that with the fact that the devs have access to the power of the PS3, like Feldman said, it’s absolutely ridiculous what they can do now that they weren’t able to do before.
Next up is the combat director’s turn, and they’ve saved the best for last. Nothing I’d like to hear right now more than details on how Kratos is gonna bring on the pain and chuck out enemy guts like they were leftover meatloaf. Check back with us tomorrow when we cover the last part of the PlayStation Blog’s Developer Interview series.
