God of War III Q&A part 4 – Kratos is bigger than ever
Apparently, Jeff Rubenstein did five interviews with the God of War III team. Joining him for the fourth is Vassily Filipov, lead programmer for God of War III, who talks about the massive improvement of the game from the PS2, and how Kratos alone wouldn’t even fit on the PS3’s older brother. Video’s inside.

Just like how Filipov said it, just imagine your biggest God of War II fight, triple that, with bigger characters, new moves, and new weapons, then we have a thriller on our hands. The great disparity between the PS2 and PS3 certainly allows devs to pack so much into the game that they couldn’t do in the PS2.
Am I hyping here too much? Or is the game just that wickedly awesome? Up next (for real this time) is the combat director, and Jeff Rubenstein reckons we really ought to stick around for that. Hopefully by then, we’ll have an idea of what kind of weapons and skills Kratos would be dishing out to his poor victims.
