God of War PS3 Update: Rumor Getting Closer To Reality?

Nine months ago, rumors surfaced that a God of War sequel would come to PS2 followed by another sequel for the upcoming PS3. The PS2 sequel has been confirmed last February, the PS3 version is still orbiting in rumor space.  However, positive signs from the game’s director could make God of War for PS3 cross into reality.

God of War game director Cory Barlog said  “I would love to see a trilogy happen.” Barlog did not announce any concrete plans for the trilogy for now but he and creator Dave Jaffe already have ideas.

“We are telling the continuation of KratosÂ’ life as we left off from the first game. The story in God of War II will begin to show a larger view of KratosÂ’ role within the mythological world.”
