Gods & Heroes: Mystic spells and feat tree

Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising - Image 1Far from being the loony individuals a lot of cynics often take mystics to be, they are actually one of the most potentially powerful individuals in Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising. Why? For starters, can you imagine being cast with “Pierced Effigy” and “Snakebite” during a squad battle to render you helpless and hanging on to dear life?!

So anyway, MysticsÂ’ powers are vast and varied. They’re not only able to cast wickedly powerful spells, they also have a lot of defense and strength charms in their arsenal.

So to give you a glimpse of just how powerful these Mystics can be, we’ll take a look at their Feat Tree and attempt to run down the numerous destructive spells they have. Some of which include the following:

  • Numinous Flame – conjures a blistering fireball that detonates in an explosion upon hitting the target
  • Charm Undead – stuns any undead enemy while they come up with a spell will thoroughly incapacitate the enemy
  • Spirit Wall – slows those foes down long enough for the casting of “Miasma,” which envelops several foes in a cloud of lethal poison
  • Firestorm – allows a Mystic and his or her spellcaster minions to join forces in calling death down from the heavens
  • Lethian Bones – summons a corpse from its grave to distract the opponent
  • Summon Snakes – (self-explanatory but whatever) summons a serpent to fight at their side
  • Summon Shade – calls a soul back from Hades to help them cause damage to the enemy
  • Foretelling – allows mystics to predict their opponents’ moves
  • Insubstantiality – increases resistance to physical damage
  • Life Stealing – perhaps one of the most powerful spells, it drains some of the enemyÂ’s health and gives it to the person casting the spell.

And these are just some of them, mind you. To check out even more of the spells that the Mystics have up their mysteriously powerful sleeves (and to see their feat tree), just click on the read link below and you’re all set.
