If you liked that nice
Sony PlayStation Portable
homebrew application MapThis!, you may also want to try the fresh release from Russian developer
avovrepus called GooMap. It's essentially an alternative to MapThis! with a few bells and whistle
s here and there.
One of the nice things about GooMap is that it comes pre-loaded with a map of Mother Russia's capital, Moscow. You can enjoy that along with a world map for a geography crash course.
The controls for GooMap are as follows:
- Scroll - Analog stick
- Zoom - Cross and Triangle
- L and R Triggers - Rotation
A short changelog was also noted due to a recent update on GooMap:
- Improved logic of skrola and Zuma;
- Added panel display geographic coordinates.
There's no readme included in the archive, so be sure you know what you're doing when you load it to your Sony PSP. It'd be helpful to follow the Via link to get to the dev's post. Comments and other feedback are always welcome.
