Gran Turismo 5 Prologue screenshots roll anew
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue‘s release isn’t exactly ’round the bend, so it’ll still be a wicked wait before we could get our hands on the full release of this Gran Turismo 5 precursor title. Maybe Polyphony Digital and Sony tuned in to fans’ frequencies, because they’ve just released a new set of screenshots boasting urban and rural settings, the sleek Vettes the title will be packing, and a slew of other highly awaited rides to bide the time.
Gorgeous, glitzy, and high maintenance – that’s the kind of car you’ll get to test drive across virtual – and equally captive – circuits in Polyphony Digital‘s Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for the Sony PlayStation 3. The game’s very collection of sweet rides will melt rubber, set flames to asphalt, and NASCAR box self-esteem to shame. The following screenshots will make sure of that.
After letting our eyes play with the most alluring digital portraits of Chevrolet’s 1960 Corvette, we’re treated to an additional take of the same model. This time around, however, we’re held in the presence to the its younger descendant, the Corvette Z06, plus the Mustang V8, and the furnished interior of the Acura NSX. What anyone wouldn’t give to take any one of these beauties out for a spin and without concern for a driving license or insurance, eh?
But we’ll only get to rev those engines when Gran Turismo 5 Prologue hits North American shelves on April 15 (or the wavering European release date, whenever it may be), and that’s more than two months away. Still, that’s enough time to save up for that US$ 39.99 price tag and to prep ourselves for classy, stylish road trips with our Sony PlayStation 3 right in our living room.
