Ever wondered what sort of car Santa Claus would drive around in besides his age-old sleigh-and-reindeers setup? The guys over at Polyphony Digital has answered that question for all of us, with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue‘s Season’s Greetings trailer video. We have to say, for a guy who spends all Christmas giving gifts to kids, he’s got taste.

Santa Claus may have the most physics-defying ride in history – that being an airborne sled propelled by flying reindeers – but even jolly ol’ Saint Nick knows that there’s nothing more awesome than driving around in a stylish, souped-up sports car. And it’s in this Season’s Greetings trailer of Polyphony Digital‘s Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for the Sony PlayStation 3 that we get a look at what the guy in the red suit likes, in terms of sleek automobiles.

While a two-seater sportscar with four wheels and no flight capability may not be the best method of travel when worldwide gift delivery is concerned, it certainly beats the old sleigh-and-reindeers setup any day. You have to admit, too, that Saint Nick certainly has taste.
