Gran Turismo HD – The Nissan Trailer
Everyone likes fast cars. Even more so if they’re really sturdy types. Gran Turismo, the racing series that helped define the early portions of the PS1-era racing genre, helped invigorate this by putting in really sweet looking cars that didn’t break when you rammed them into other cars to get past turns.
How we miss those days.
Gran Turismo HD will come out eventually, and we do hope that intense feeling of speed comes back to us, or at least the unrealistic feeling of bumping other cars to help maneuver around high-speed turns. For now, though, maybe we should sit back and enjoy the teasers Polyphony Digital gives us.
This next video, a little over a minute and a half in length, features the collaborative teaser powers of Polyphony Digital and Nissan. Starting off with some “old footage” of cars in the past, it moves on to showing off the speed and power of a good Nissan. We only wish the Skyline GT R had wings, so we could gape in awe at even more racing awesomeness.
Enjoy the video, and remember: real cars have crash detailing, like the mangled limbs and bloodied bodies of your friends. Drive responsibly in the real world, alright?
