Grand New Set of Gran Turismo HD Screens
Although not slated for release until some time next year, the fifth edition of the Gran Turismo series is making a lot of heads turn towards it. Promising a complex crash simulation and realistic damage modeling system to further let gamers experience the true thrill of racing, Gran Turismo HD is set to capture the checkered flag of race-themed games.
PlayStation 3 is arguably the most powerful console hardware-wise and developer Kazunori Yamauchi is about to take full advantage of it. The demo of this game in E3 displayed visual quality said to be 12 times greater than Gran Turismo 4 was on the PS2, further boosting the game’s image as one of the most-anticipated titles for PS3. Developers are also said to be looking in to integrating the EyeToy camera unit for in-game support.
The new set of screens we have here features some of the challenging courses being developed, something the Gran Turismo is well-known for (who could ever forget the deadly Nurburgring and the Grand Canyon?). We also have some flashing the sleek rides we have for this title. Don’t let your heart pump too much blood with these screens, save those when the actual game gets released.
