Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories on PS2 out June 6th for $20
A release date and price for the PlayStation 2 version of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories have finally been announced. Released for $50 on the PSP, the PS2 version will be only $20 US. It will also be $20 GBP ($35 US) in the UK and 30 Euros ($37 US) in the European Union. The inflated prices for Europe will be a disappointment for those in the area, but maybe you guys are just used to getting screwed over by these companies by now… There is no official Canadian pricing, but from my experience I’d say that most stores will have it for $25 CAD with maybe Superstore having it at $20 CAD. There is no word on a price drop for the PSP version, but it would seem crazy to keep it that high after the console version is released. UMDs should be more expensive than regular DVDs, however, so that may play a part. The PS2 version will be released on 06/06/06 – interesting.
