Greased-Up Hierarchy – Burger King Grills Kotaku
George Bush hasn’t been the only one leaking secrets lately. Burger King has a beef with Kotaku, a video gaming blog, for revealing their plans to include X-Box 360 games with food items. The article included concept art and screenshots of the games.
Lawyers from the King claim that Kotaku is breaking “the intellectual property rights of Burger King” and that the article, complete with the images, should be removed from the site. Tough luck, small fry. Kotaku took things lightly saying, “We’re not taking down the post, but we will take some of those scrumptious breakfast sandwiches the King has been pedaling. We’ll gladly trade in our claim of Fair Use for a bag full of delicious sausage Croissanwiches.”
Burger King should not have let their information leak out in the first place. This is helping millions of people decided once and for all that McDonald’s is truly better even though they don’t have frozen Cokes and soft french fries.
