We reported the other day that developer-publisher Konami cancelled a good number of their upcoming projects both for the Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 3. The scoop came from Famitsu magazine and was also picked up apparently by Dengeki. Anyway, Konami came up with an official statement to correct the said reports.According to them, there are no cancellations or planned cancellations for these games. They pointed out that the two publications committed an error because the games are very much still under development. It would be remembered that while the list was rather vague on the Wii titles, the PS3 ones included Gradius and another baseball game.
Lastly, the correction do not include Coded Arms: Assault. The futuristic PS3 shooter was officially cancelled the other day. If they're saying that the games are on schedule, we guess it is safe now to anticipate updates and possibly release dates in the coming weeks.
