Green lighter uses solar power
In the day and age when “if you’re not green, you’re not in” is the fad, everyone seems to jump in the bandwagon to not only save mother Earth but also to make a quick buck. From green fuels to green cigarettes, we thought we saw everything. We thought wrong.
Introducing the solar-powered lighter invented in Portugal. It doesn’t use any fuels at all and contributes no carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. It’s equipped with a solar panel that stores energy in Lithium ions and provides a spark any time you want.
And yes, it works even in the dark. It can even utilize artificial light to power up. The lighter is available now in Europe and sells for roughly the equivalent of US$ 19.00.
