Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy Comes to Wii
Another game targeted for the younger gamers and Cartoon Network-viewers will soon make its way into the Wii gaming market.
The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy is based on a show on Cartoon Network which showcases Billy and Mandy’s adventures with the Grim Reaper, or Grim, whom they become friends with after winning a bet over a hamster. The show was created by Maxwell Atoms and originally labelled “Grim and Evil.”
Far from being the usual passive viewer of the said cartoons, you can now get to decide on the adventures Billy, Mandy, and the other characters get into via the game that Midway created with the same title.
Here, gamers can fight with up to three other friends in eight arenas which range from Billy’s house to the afterlife. Gamers can choose among 15 characters featured in the game, each having their own attributes such as weapons and attack, and includes Billy, Mandy, Grim, and Irwin. The game also features a variety of environments and fight enemies such as the multiheaded Cerberus dog. There’s an option in the game also where you can play through an adventure mode that includes 45 missions as a single-player or with a friend in co-op mode.
The said game was already on display at Midway’s booth during the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo (or E3) in Los Angeles but is scheduled to be released for the Wii on the 30th of November this year.
