GTA IV packshot is nothing but a fake

A few days back, one of our readers sent us an alleged packshot of Grand Theft Auto IV. Reading through your comments, we did a little investigation about it and thanks to a lot of you guys, it’s now safe to say that this packshot, just like the rumored screenshot, is a fake.

The fake packshot was concocted by a guy called SlimTrashman. He mentions that by far, this is the best fake he has ever produced. He worked on it for about seven hours and there are other artists who contributed in making it.

He also shared that he also created a fake packshot for the Xbox 360 version. Yeah, we know this tidbit is a bit old, but for the sake of reporting you the truth, we’re still sharing it with you guys. We wouldn’t dream of lying to you or leading you on.

Anyhow, here’s to hoping that we’ll get our hands on the real screens, packshots, and vids, that we will enjoy to share with you guys.
