GTA4 bags Game of the Year award at Spike VGA 2008
After everything was said and done, Grand Theft Auto 4 (PS3, Xbox 360) walked away with the Game of the Year award at this year’s Spike TV Video Game Awards, winning out over Fallout 3, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and Gears of War 2. The Rockstar title also took the award for Best Action/Adventure Game. Michael Hollick, who voiced GTA4 protagonist Nico Bellic, also snagged the Best Performance by a Human Male award.
