Guardian of Light is not the next main Tomb Raider

In case the absence of the “Tomb Raider” name in the title didn’t give it away, Crystal Dynamics has revealed that Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light isn’t the next main entry in the franchise.

 

 

 

 

In case the absence of the “Tomb Raider” name in the title didn’t give it away, Crystal Dynamics has revealed that Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light isn’t the next main entry in the franchise.

 

Responding to fan concerns on their official Facebook page, a Crystal Dynamics representative clarified that Guardian of Light is but one of two games currently in development at the studio. The other game is presumably Tomb Raider 9.

 

Another studio rep also assuaged fears that Guardian of Light will adversely affect development of the next main Tomb Raider. “They are separate and LCGoL doesn’t effect the ‘other project’,” said the rep.
