Guild Wars Nightfall – Preview Event Date Set & New Screens
ArenaNet today announced that Guild Wars Nightfall, the newest addition to the successful MMO franchise, will make it’s debut at a massive, free event that will run from September 22 07:01pm GMT to September 25 06:59pm GMT.
The “Guild Wars Nightfall World Preview” event is expected to be even more successful than prior Guild Wars records, being open to anyone wanting a taste of ArenaNet’s newest game. Players will be able to check out the new environments, new missions and new battle arenas, the Sunspear Arena and Churranu Island. Of course, the two new professions – the Dervish and the Paragon – can be chosen for the new characters, to try out the new Nightfall-specific skill sets.
The entire Istani province of the new realm Elona will be open for player exploration, and as the participants progress, they get to see the first Nightfall in-game cinematics. Additionally, certain European games magazines will carry a special key for an exclusive, in-game Gray Giant miniature that will be usable during the event. And when Nightfall is finally released on October 27, players can re-activate it.
