Guild Wars Updates This Week
NCSoft has provided an extensive list of updates for Guild Wars this week:
– Health penalty on attribute-boosting major runes from 50 to 35 has been decreased; existing runes are unaffected.
– Chat in alliance battles has been improved; players can now see party messages from all members of their team.
– The Zin Ku Corridor outpost has been updated so that it shows who currently has the Favor of the Gods.
– A Xunlai Agent has been added to the Zos Shivros Channel.
– The Xunlai Agent in Jade Quarry has been moved to a more accessible location.
– The Thief is now gone from the Imperial Isle guild battle.
– The inventory of the weaponsmith in Maatu Keep is updated.
– The following creatures have new artwork: Naga Wizard, Naga Raincaller, Naga Spellblade, Naga Witch, Naga Bone Collector, and Naga Sibyl.
– Bug issues are addressed in the following quests: Stolen Eggs, Protect the Halcyon, Outcasts in the Quarry, Luxon Supply Lines, Song and Stone, Lambs to the Slaughter, Defend Denravi, Noble Intentions, and Hammer and Anvil.
– There are bug fixes in Silent Surf and Riverside Province.
– The bug that caused quest markers and arrows to update incorrectly has been eliminated.
– Cinematic voiceovers are now correct.
– Players no longer drop items inadvertently while cinematics are playing.
– A bug that caused some players to disconnect with error 019 has been addressed.
– The Shiro and Jade Armor miniatures have new weapons.

Changes in Skill Balances made for the following classes:
All
– Shadow stepping no longer moves you farther than the radius of the radar.
– Soul Reaping now only gives half Energy from Spirits.
– The Victory of Death path for all NPCs on all guild halls is updated so that the NPCs now spread out at the flag stand.
– The flag spawn locations on all guild halls are now at equal distance from the flag stand.
Assassin
– Way of the Empty Palm: cast time reduced to .25 seconds; recharge time reduced to 25 seconds.
– Locust’s Fury: cast time reduced to 1 second.
– Siphon Strength: damage reduction your target deals increased to 5..50.
– Palm Strike: recharge time reduced to 10 seconds; damage increased to 10..85.
– Enduring Toxin: cast time reduced to .25 seconds; health degeneration increased to 1..5.
– Crippling Dagger: recharge time reduced to 5 seconds.
– Heart of Shadow: healing amount increased to 10..115 Health.
– Mirrored Stance: recharge time reduced to 15 seconds.
– Unseen Fury: duration increased to 15..60 seconds.
– Golden Phoenix Strike: Energy cost increased to 10.
– Aura of Displacement: recharge time increased to 20 seconds.
Mesmer
– Stolen Speed: casting time reduced to 1 second; recharge time reduced to 3 seconds; skill wording corrected.
– Arcane Languor: duration increased to 1..8 seconds.
Elementalist
– Glyph of Sacrifice: amount of time required to recharge next spell reduced to 30 seconds.
– Ward against Harm: skill type changed to Ward Spell.
Monk
– Vigorous Spirit: heal per skill or attack increased to 5..20.
– Dwayna’s Kiss: conditional heal increased to 10..35 Health.
Warrior
– Furious Axe: adrenaline gained when blocked increased to 3.
– Auspicious Parry: recharge time increased to 2 seconds; adrenaline gained decreased to 1..4.
– Signet of Strength: number of attacks update when skill reapplied.
Ranger
– Archer Signet: the number of attacks update when when skill reapplied.
Ritualist
– Doom: recharge time reduced to 8 seconds.
– Channeled Strike: recharge time reduced to 8 seconds.
– Essence Strike: amount of Energy gained increased when in range of a Spirit to 1..8.
– Lamentation: energy cost reduced to 5.
– Gaze from Beyond: a bug that caused this skill to ignore armor has been fixed.
– Ancestors’ Rage: casting time to reduced .75 seconds.
– plinter Weapon: energy cost reduced to 5.
– Resilient Weapon: casting time reduced to 1 second.
– Vengeful Weapon: amount of Health stolen when this skill is triggered increased to 15..60 Health.
– Soul Twisting: the recharge time increased to 15 seconds.
