GuildMateMap Mod makes finding guildmates easier

The GuildMateMap, a mod for WoW created by wolfsokta, is one of the most useful mods created. It’s genius is in it’s simplicity. GuildMateMap will show all your guildmates in your world, continent, zone, and mini-map. In addition, if they have the same mod installed, you will be getting additional information such as position, current level, class, and guild rank.

The tactical application of this mod cannot be overstated. Need a party quick? Just click on any one of your guildmates on the world map and you can whisper to him/her. Then you can simply right click them to add them to your group. Other options are available if they’re on your minimap. You target guildmates with a left click. Then you right click and choose from either invite, whisper, or follow.

If you have an older version of GMM, then here are the changes from the old version:

1. 1.7 Fixed some minimap drawing problems when in a city.
2. 1.6 Fixed mouse over error on minimap. Now Remove guild mates that logoff. Don’t display guild mates that are in party (again)
3. 1.5 Now works with burning crusade.

• Had to re-do most of the position drawing code.
• It will not draw guildmates in adjacent zones.
• Removed the popup menu on right click of member in minimap.
• Left click now starts chat with guildmate, right click invites guildmate to your group.

As of yet there have been no reported bugs in this version. If you play World of Warcraft and are in a guild, this is one of those “must download” mods.

To run the mod: /guildmatemap or /gmm
Parameters:
debug [on/off]
enable [true/false] Enables or Disables GuildMateMap
msglvl [on/off] Turn on/off sending a guild chat message when you level’
print Prints the list of guild mates currently being tracked
clear Clears out the list of guild mates being tracked
mates Debug method to add false guild mates for testing

4. 1.01 Now hide guildmate icons for members in your party or raid on the world map as well as the minimap.
5. 1.0 You can now left click on a guildmate icon in the world map to whisper them, or right click to invite them to your party. Fixed the problem where you would disappear or jump to a bad location on other peoples maps when you opened your minimap. As a result though, your position information won’t be sent, and your minimap icons won’t draw while you have your map open to continent or world levels No known errors exist in the US version.
