GuildWars PvP Primer: Fort Aspenwood Cross-Training

Yeah yeah, we know some of you guys might be getting tired of all the PvP Primers we’ve been giving you lately, what with the basic group-finding primer and the Skill Synergy primer (which was so extensive that we reported it in two parts) we brought you just a month ago.

However, much as some of you might be getting annoyed already, we also know that there is a faction of our readers who find these primers really useful. So try to suspend your annoyance as we bring you yet another primer; this time on Fort Aspenwood Cross-Training.

Fort Aspenwood is a Factions PvP arena which offers players a good chance to break into competitive play. Fort Aspenwood actually has pretty much the same party-forming mechanic as Random Arenas, but the only difference is, the game automatically assigns you to a team once you enter battle at Fort Aspenwood. If you’re using a PvP-only character, all you have to do to find Fort Aspenwood is to travel to the Great Temple of Balthazar and talk to a Luxon recruiter NPC or Kurzick.

Once you’re on the Cantha map, you’ll see that Fort Aspenwood is an outpost near the alliance border. And once you get to the outpost, just press “Enter Mission” and you’re good to go. An important note though, you must own a copy of Guild Wars Factions to access Fort Aspenwood.
