So, you wanna go crusin’ for a bruisin’ again on your PSP? There’s some good news especially if you like 2D fighting games. It appears the Guilty Gear Accent Core XX Plus is headed to the handheld this July replete with new modes and characters. Full story follows after the jump.
If you’re a big 2D fighting game fan and you demand that there be more action of that sort on your Sony PSP, relief is coming your way. Sighted in Famitsu Taiwan‘s latest issue is news that Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus is heading to the handheld this July.
This means that players will now be able to enjoy pretty much the same slashing brawler that they did on the PlayStation 2. Like its console counterpart, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus will have additional characters and modes for more replay value.
One of the most intriguing new features is the ad hoc-supported Team Battle mode which can have three players at the same time entering a tournament. We’re not sure how that’ll work out, but as long as we have our blades and we can pull off sick combos, this one should be fun like the rest of the series has been.
