Guilty Gear XX Accent Core to sail over to US shores
Guilty Gear fans rejoice! Not only is Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear XX Accent Core – the latest title in the ultra-slick fighter with heavy anime influences – coming over to the US, it’s going to have a completely retuned system. That means the crippling bugs in the Japanese PS2 version will be completely done away with come the game’s stateside release some time this year.
Featuring new modes, new characters, and controls that take full advantage of the Nintendo Wii’s motion-sensing capabilities, armchair pugilists should definitely sit up and watch out for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core – not to mention the fact that the game itself is looking flashier than ever. And with all the bells and whistles that come with every new Guilty Gear release, any joystick jockey will be hard at work forming new strategies and attack plans.
Certainly good news for those of us still loyal to the off-beat world of Guilty Gear. Updates as we get them, and in the meantime, why not enjoy these screenshots?
