Guitar Hero Headed to the Xbox 360?

GamerAndy.com has received exclusive word from an anonymous source saying that Red Octane is hard at work on a PS2 sequel as well as an Xbox 360 iteration of their famed Guitar Hero series! While this certainly suggests that an Xbox 360 game is in the works, it doesn’t rule out the fact that the PS3 may also see a Guitar Hero title in the near future.

If the Guitar Hero franchise does makes its way to the 360, we can expect to see plenty of innovations that weren’t possible on the PS2, including downloadable tracks, gameplay over Xbox Live, and possibly Tournament modes. Only time will tell if this rumor is in fact true, but it would definitely be a great title to have on the 360.
