Activision has finally set a date for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PS2 editions of Smash Hits, and it’s pegged for June 16th. Features for this iteration of the hit music game include the Music Studio song-creation and sharing mode. There will also be offline and online play modes for both single and multiplayer modes.

Picky about the venues you’ll be rocking out on? Don’t worry, you’ve got eight of them to choose from, including concert halls from all the way in the Amazon, polar ice caps, and the Grand Canyon. How’s that for far-out!
