Gundam Musou trailer looks hot

The PlayStation 3 sees more good news as we get an early look at what could be a worldwide hit: Gundam Musou. Mechanized warfare is what you get when you cross Zone of the Enders with Dynasty Warriors and dress it up in a Mobile Suit Gundam costume. Sounds weird? Maybe, but in a very good way.

We got hold of this video that shows the actual gameplay and what we have may be a lead of dynamite. The mobile suit prototypes look impressive, too bad that it doesn’t last too long because the Gundam shows up with his thermal blade and proves that metallics are combustible.

The action looks fast even with a lot of onscreen objects which have high detail- a testament to the PS3’s hardware capabilities. The background effects from the dust to the lighting are right on the money and the frenetic swordplay is an indication that this one might have good handles. We’ll keep you posted for more updates.
