Guns, marionettes, and an aria: Devil May Cry 4 TGS vid
Don’t you sometimes wish your right hand was possessed and allowed you to smash demon-puppets’ brains in a fiery blaze? Nero seems to like it. And most probably, you’re going to enjoy the feeling too. Capcom showed a new Devil May Cry 4 video during the TGS 2006, and lots of eyebrows were raised – not in skepticism, but in wonder.
Fans of the series will recognize a lot of elements in this new game. The whole whoop-dee-doo of combo attacks is still there: a hack-and-slash, shoot-’em-up real-time battle system. There’s still the demonic marionettes, cathedral-ish stage settings, and lots of fiery action. But, there’s something curious about the video. Towards the end, something will happen between Nero and Dante.
Maybe you saw it coming. Maybe not. But we’re all just wondering how this will impact the plot for this game. We won’t drop any spoilers here, so, just take a look at the video for yourself. Hear the devil cry.
