Monday’s hitting soon, and in a short while, we’ll be getting Gyrostarr on the WiiWare. Gyrostarr is High Voltage Softwares new sci-fi shooter offered on Nintendo Wii’s downloadable service starting June 23, 2008.
Featured here is some fast action gameplay that’s sure to engross you. After all, with 50 intense levels (which can handle up to four players), it’s not that hard to imagine how you’ll be absorbed shooting at enemies and dodging obstacles. To make all your troubles seem worth it, they’ve also added in collectible upgrades to sufficiently arm you for the rising challenge each time you go up a level.
This title also nicely showcases High Voltage’s Quantum 3 Game Engine technology, and built the controls from the ground up to make sure that it fits your Wii’s controls nicely. Eric Nosfinger sings his praises to the game:
Aside from the visuals, which are gorgeous, there is a lot about Gyrostarr that players will love. As players develop their skill at the game, they will devise strategies to help them make it through all of the levels. Jumping into the game with four players just makes the experience that much better.
Gyrostarr will be available on the WiiWare for 700 Wii Points.
