Hacking World of Warcraft coming soon to GAME
Though an eyebrow raiser, this bit of info coming from tipster Anonymouse had us revisit GAME for some much needed investigation. Is it true? It probably is, for it’s been quite a while that it’s been posted up on the site. “Hacking World of Warcraft,” a collaboration between Daniel Gilbert and James Whitehead, will soon be available on GAME.
While not exactly the super-duper hacking guide you expect it to be (no you won’t be able to enter the World of Warcraft ala Matrix), it is questionably bordering on the hardcore aspects of code, tactics, flukes and even taking advantage (okay, okay exploiting) of certain game issues that are inherent to the World of Warcraft system.
Daniel Gilbert, renowned for his popular WoW add-on Atlas, will help users view the code behind the more popular add-ons and teach them to create their own. Apart from also helping out newbies, veteran players will also find this book…err, interesting.
