Being a loyal fan of Halo 2 may soon bring you a great reward. It appears that players of this Halo iteration are set to receive a beta invite for the multiplayer beta of Halo: Reach. Yeah, now you’re glad you didn’t ditch this game, arent’ you?
Apparently, this is some sort of farewell gesture from Microsoft as they finally close down their XBL service for original Xbox games. The severance package is not merely limited to just the invite too.
Apart from that much-coveted invite, you will also receive three months worth of XBL Gold and 400 Microsoft Points. That’s quite the appeasement effort, wouldn’t you say?
