Halo 3 is 99 percent complete, details on Bungie Pro revealed
In the latest official update on Halo 3, Bungie said that the game is “99.8 percent complete” and some new details were revealed about the planned Bungie Pro player folders for anyone who wishes to have more space on the developer’s server come game time.
It looks like there’s no stopping what Microsoft calls “the biggest entertainment launch of all time” when September 25 hits. Let’s hope the remaining 0.2 percent in the polishing process turns out as good as can be.
As for the details on player folders which can hold videos on Bungie’s servers, it’s planned at this point that anyone with a copy of Halo 3 and a Gold subscription on Xbox Live will be allotted 6 slots and 25MB of space. Bungie says that should be enough for the average player’s storage needs.
For those of you who are really into capturing your games and sharing them to the world, Bungie plans to launch a Bungie Pro mechanism which will give players 250MB of space across 24 slots. It will tentatively be worth 750 Microsoft points and will be good for one full year.
What do you think? Are you planning to get a Pro subscription? Most of you can probably make up your minds in a flash, but for everyone else who can’t, we can always wait for Halo 3 to come around and we’ll cross the bridge when we get there. For the meantime, enjoy these Halo 3 screenshots fresh off the Bungie forge.
