Since its highly-anticipated launch on September 22nd, it seems Halo 3: ODST has been flying off shelves and into Xbox 360 systems. USA Today reports that the Bungie FPS has sold 2.5 million units worldwide, amassing more than US$ 125 million in revenues
Earlier in September, pre-orders for the game went soaring past 1.2 million, so it would seem that the amount has doubled since launch, plus a bit more.
Michael Pachter had a few words for the game’s success. “That’s pretty good for a game that most called an expansion pack,” he said. I’ll leave you guys to comment on that one-liner.
