Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC has evolved. It’s been patched to version 1.08. This patch removes the CD check for the game, five years after the game has been released. There’s also a patch available for Halo: Custom Edition as well. More after the jump!
Surprise, surprise. Bungie Studios‘ Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC has evolved. It’s been patched to version 1.08. This patch removes the CD check for the game, five years after the game has been released. There’s also a patch available for Halo: Custom Edition as well.
Aside from removing the CD Check from the game, the 1.08 patch also takes care of some server-crashing security bugs. The patch will be required to play online, beginning tomorrow.
