The New York Comic Con played host to the announcement recently that Marvel has finally decided on who will be handling creative duties on their upcoming monthly Halo comic book.

Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Joe Quesada revealed at a NYCC panel this weekend that the creative team for the Halo comic will be composed of writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Alex Maleev. Both are best known for their recent and critically-acclaimed run on the Daredevil comic. In case you’re still wondering about these guys’ credentials, consider the fact that they won an Eisner for the said Daredevil run.

The Halo comic book is reportedly slated for a Summer 2007 launch. Unfortunately, no art was shown at the panel. Keep checking back here on QJ for more updates.
