Halo Wars goes gold: demo details, launch of documentary series

It’s on a bittersweet note I tell you guys that Halo Wars has gone gold. Ensemble Studios‘ final work is en route for its release date on March 3, with the demo coming on February 5. A new behind-the-scenes documentary series was also launched for the game.

It’s on a bittersweet note I tell you guys that Halo Wars has gone gold. The game is now in the manufacturing process and is en route for its release date on March 3. As this is Ensemble Studios‘ final game, they are expected to disassemble soon.

 A demo will be available on February 5. The demo will contain gameplay tutorials, the first two campaign missions, and a multiplayer map entitled “chasms.” No online play for the map though, sorry people. This is you versus your silicon chips here. Time to find out who’s smarter when it comes to strategy.

A new behind-the-scenes documentary series was also launched for the game, similar to what was done for Halo 3. The first episode is already available on Xbox Live Marketplace and on Xbox.com.
