Haunting soon: Blizzard contests

In about thirty days’ time, the dead will rise once again from their graves and lay siege upon towns, asking for sweeties and fruits from the bewitched neighborhood residents. There’s going to be raids, missions, and trickery going on. And part of that Halloween tradition, Blizzard is giving its fans a treat.

They’re holding two contests: the 4th Annual Pumpkin-Carving contest, and the Costume Contest. The first requires those skilled with a carving knife to take it out on the pumpkin (literally). The most well-made pumpkin wins the day. Now, if you’re not feeling too comfy with a knife in your hands, you might just want to play dress-up and search madly for possible costumes from Warcraft, Starcraft, or Diablo. The rules and prizes haven’t been announced yet, so keep coming back for updates.

Y’know… We here at QJ just might take Blizzard up on its offer and just have our own costume party. Anyone here have a Shinning Armor of Valor that I can borrow?
